Little kid chair slipcover

Kayla got this "thrifty find" at the Eureka Etcetera shop.  The chair is probably only waist high so just perfect for kids.  She was planning to put it in her daughter's room.

The legs on the chair were nice enough that she decided to not have a skirt on the finished product.  I just love how it turned out!

Catch up

Wow!  I am behind!  So, I present this catch up post:)

It must be the time to have babies because at the end of last year I was working on quite a few nursery sets. So fun to see each person's taste and personality coming out in their choices of fabric!

I recovered this bumper and remade the crib skirt for a little "boy" to be:)

This is a Pottery Barn bumper pad, and I made this crib skirt to match.  We cut up sheer curtains, put a bright pink fabric underneath, and then added the pink gingham checked fabric.  Turned out cute and a pretty close coordinate, I must say!  :)

I'm bummed that I forgot to get pictures of the crib skirt and changing pad cover I made to go with this bedding, but it was out of the cute gray chevron on this owl's belly!  We were coordinating with a line from Pottery Barn on this bedding too.  Then I got to try out this owl mat.  I had the picture on the right from pinterest.  What a cozy little mat!

I needed a few gifts for the new babies coming, so decided to try my hand at embellishing onesies.  Oh what fun this is!  Grab your scraps and let your imagination go!

I just finished up these Roman Shades today.  These are for a boys' room.  They have a red rug, and then their sheets have multicolored stripes.  So, we brought the two together by embellishing the curtains with stripes of ribbon.  It really pulls the room all together!
